We also dedicate this study to our extrovert friends because they shared information and clarity about their personalities that is highly pertinent to this research. They made it simpler and less challenging for us to conduct a study on extroverts. The researchers believe that the findings and recommendations of this study will tremendously assist them in raising awareness as extroverts. This chapter includes the introduction, theoretical framework, statement of the problem, assumption of the study, scope and limitation, conceptual framework, significance of the study and the definition of terms used. Introduction The pandemic brought about a significant alteration in people's daily lives, such as limited social engagement. Extroverts are typically outgoing, aggressive, warm, active, thrill-seeking, and optimistic. They frequently and intensely feel good feelings. This makes it simpler for them to keep a happy attitude in daily life. Additionally, it supports their ability to maintain optimism in facing challenging situations like the current crisis (Soto, 2020). If compared to the strategies or ways employed by introverted persons, it is thought that this type has distinct techniques or strategies to conquer any challenges they encounter. As a response to the pandemic, maintaining sociability with other people may not have been easy for extroverted individuals because of the establishment of social distancing, prohibition of gatherings and limited social interactions. As extroverts, they would have a hard time adjusting because they were not used to it. Staying home and physically distancing themselves from others could feel draining. Even though extroverts may be weathering the pandemic better than anticipated, that does not mean they are not experiencing any stress or anxiety as a result of the stay-at-home order. Due to the distance, they may not be able to speak with their pals, but they can still be outgoing with the people in their everyday lives.

Extroverted people enjoy being out and about, mingling with others, and being upbeat. Above all, though, they enjoy discussing ideas face-to-face. It is important to understand how they survived the pandemic and adjusted. Since the future is currently uncertain and there may be new viruses or pandemics that bring about new changes like having little social connection, this study will be especially beneficial for extroverts. When this study is completed, the data of the chosen students that the researchers will speak with can be used as a foundation. With the right initiatives, those phenomena can be helped in terms of their conduct or personalities. Extroverts are often described as the life of the party, they are outgoing, vibrant nature draws people to them, they have a hard time turning away from the attention and they thrive off the interaction. Being an extrovert has several benefits, one of which is that they have much better job opportunities. Therefore, it will benefit them in both the present and the future if they keep their personality regardless of the difficulties or circumstances they encounter. The purpose of this study is to ascertain what these extroverted individuals went through during the pandemic when they only had limited social interaction. This study aims to determine whether extroverted people have readily adjusted to the situation during the pandemic era or if it has become difficult for them to lead a regular life as they are accustomed to. This study also aims to identify the methods or techniques that extroverts employed or put into practice to successfully adjust to have adaptability in limited social engagement during the pandemic. Their personality has helped them to create strategies to preserve social engagements, even if they are not accustomed to the limited social engagement established during the pandemic. It's crucial to understand the factors that affected their ability to adjust during the pandemic since they are unaccustomed to the new situation. In other cases, it’s also probable that some extroverts struggle with their mental health so not all extroverts can easily handle the situation or always feel positive emotions in life. sacredness and feeling of connectedness that accompanies some large or small-scale group events (Gabriel et al., 2020) and can foster feelings of connection with people that one does not necessarily know. These strategies included collective effervescence, use of social surrogates, and video-chatting which has been associated with greater extroversion during the start of pandemic. Statement of the Problem This study will answer the following questions:

This study is anchored from the theoretical support of the "Reinforcement Sensitivity Theory" by Jeffrey Alan Gray a physiologist. He argues that neuroticism reflects sensitivity or response when it comes to punishments or consequences because neuroticism is the trait or behavior that experiences negative effects, so anger, anxiety, depression and self-consciousness dominate this personality. On the other hand, extraversion is the trait that reflects when it comes to rewards. No matter what kind of personality a person has, having someone who can inspire and uplift them in any facet of life is crucial for their survival because without a motivational system, they may experience fear, anxiety, and other negative emotions. A system known as the behavioral approach system (BAS) responds to rewards and punishment because,

provide the general structure and guide for the direction of the study. The conceptual framework is used by the researchers to outline their preferred approach to be used in their study. It is used to make conceptual directions and organize the researcher's ideas. First, the input frame comprises of research questions that the researchers wish to answer regarding the adaptability of extroverts with limited social interaction throughout the pandemic. Second, the process frame entails the steps of the process that researchers will follow in the study to further understand and analyze the study so that researchers can collect qualitative data, undertake data analysis and interpretation, and significantly contribute to this study. The dissemination of interview questionnaires to the participants will be utilized through interviews that will support this study to get in-depth information. Lastly, the researchers can devise strategies to raise awareness among selective Senior High School extroverted students in Pamantasan ng Cabuyao about how their lives were affected by the pandemic and the challenges they faced in adjusting to the new environment. This will help raise awareness among other people, not just for extroverts but also among those with the opposite personality. In the end, the adaptability of extroverts during the pandemic will also be determined. This personality possesses assertiveness, so researchers are expected to know the strategies and methods that extroverted individuals have developed to deal with the pandemic. Assumptions of the Study This study assumes that:
