1. List the prime factors of each number.
2. Multiply together only the factors that both numbers have in common to find GCF
3. If the two numbers do not share any common prime factors, their greatest
common factor is 1
Multiple - correct answer An integer multiplied by another integer results in a
multiple of each integer; an integer is a multiple of another integer if the remainder
is 0 when you divide the larger integer (in absolute value) by the smaller integer.
Least Common Multiple - correct answer the least common multiple of two (or more)
integers is the smallest positive integer that is a multiple of each of those integers.
To find the LCM of a set of numbers:
1. Factor out each number and express it as a product of prime numbers.
2. Find the LCM by multiplying together the highest power of each prime factor that
