Tidal lagoon has external stakeholders who have influence and power and
are interested in the activities in terms of how it performs financially. Tidal
lagoon spends more time responding and engaging regularly withthese
external stakeholders and keep constant communication with them. On the
other hand there are some external stakeholders that are communicated to
only when necessary. Examples of this high level stakeholder in Tidal
Lagoon are
Investors/ Financiers: Macquarie Capital, Loans from Welsh
Government and Capital British institutions, led by Prudential’s
InfraCapital and InfraRed Capital Partners are companies that have
invested in the project of Tidal Lagoon and pay close attention to the

They will expect their investment to pay off.  Environment/Communities: Tidal Lagoon being involved in large engineering projects have activities that could disturb the environment or communities hence, these projects undertake Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) In line with the infrastructure planning Regulations. This ensures that decisions made on development proposals have taken into account environmental implications including consideration of human, biological and physical factors.  Political entities - MPs from the conservative party and UK government agencies have an interest in Tidal lagoons. Their buy in it is important for the acceptance and sustainability of the projects.  Delivering Partners: Major delivery Partners include Akins, General Electric, Andritz Hydro, Laing O'Rourke and Alun Griffiths ltd deliver and convert the power generated through the Tidal Lagoon.
