Given a definition, description or visual example, be able to label it with the correct term. You will not have this list of terms to choose from on the exam. Note: one involves the curriculum (what you teach via lessons), the other does not. I talked in class about this in reference to Tarry Lindquist’s book: how does she “get more out of social studies”? Note: You are free to talk these things over (terms and essay question) with your classmates between now and exam time. (Do your own individual work on the exam, though.) The exam will be at the beginning of class next Wednesday (Oct. 22).
