*The University General Studies combined HU and SB

requirements requires a minimum of six hours in one area and

nine in the other for a total of 15. At least one course must be at

the upper division level. SHS students need six HU and nine SB.

One course may fulfill one core & two awareness areas but NOT

more than one core area simultaneously.

ADVISEMENT

 It is the student’s responsibility to meet the requirements of the major, college, and university in order to graduate.  Students normally receive advisement in their major departments.  Undecided “no preference” majors in the College receive advisement in Cross-College Advising Services located in UASB 123  Students on probation or disqualified, students desiring to transfer into CLAS from other colleges within the University, and students needing evaluation of out-of-state transfer credits should contact the Office for Academic Programs, SS 111 College of Liberal Arts and Sciences students must satisfy the following three types of requirements to graduate:

  1. University General Studies requirements
  2. College Graduation requirements
  3. Major requirements For policies on withdrawing from classes, repeating courses, and marks of Incomplete, see the current General Catalog. For information about drop/add and withdrawal deadlines, see the current Class Schedule. REMINDER: Programs of Study or Declarations of Graduation are due in SS 111 immediately after students enroll in their 87th hour. D Deadline for Fall semester is October 1.
