Our teaching methodologies are based on our quest for truth. Likewise, our teaching-learning goals are based on what we value or what we cherish as good. A. PROGREESIVISM The Universe is real & is in constant change We must relate to the universe & interact with others intelligently. The curriculum stresses on science & experiential learning such as “hands - on- minds-on-hearts- on” learning. Values differ from place, from time to time, from person to person; what is considered good for one may not be good for another. To help develop students who can adjust to a changing world & live with others in harmony. B. LINGUISTIC PHYLOSOPHY Any statement that is inconsistent with the structure in the whole is false. We know that we are interested in what the teaching method is based on our search for the truth or plan to achieve something or to complete what we need. It helps us to understand our world in improving things that will help us like values and good conduct by linguistic philosophy by helping us and to learn something in an aspect of value. It helps us to understand important things to develop the communication skills of the learners true meaning and values of things that experience life and the world. C. CONSTRUCTIVISM Constructivism is a theory that says learners to construct knowledge rather than just passively take in information. As people experience the world and reflect from those experiences, they build their own representations and incorporate new information into their own pre-existing knowledge (schemas). Teachers must provide students with data or experiences than allowing them to hypothesize, predict, manipulate objects, pose questions, research investigate, imagine and invent. Constructivist classroom is interactive, it promote dialogical exchange of ideas among learners and between teacher and learners To develop motivated and independent learners adequately equipped with learning skills for them to able to construct knowledge in making meaning of them.
