The strong development of science and technology has had a strong impact on the development of many countries around the world. The introduction of modern technological equipment to meet the increasing material and spiritual needs of people. Therefore, the introduction of social networking applications is an inevitable need. The birth of social networking sites is now indispensable YouTube, this is one of the most popular social network where people can upload any video on that platform with a large number of users worldwide in general and Vietnam in particular. Through this study, we have a clearer viewof the benefits and harms of using YouTube. YouTube is a global online video sharing and social media platform headquartered in San Bruno, California. It was launched on February 14, 2005, by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim. It is owned by Google, and is the second most visited website, after Google Search. YouTube has more than 2.5 billion monthly users who collectively watch more than one billion hours of videos each day.As of May 2019, videos were being uploaded at a rate of more than 500 hours of content per minute.
RQ1 : What factors motivate Youtube users to intend to use Youtube again and again to watch and upload video? RQ2 : What is the relationship between these influencing factors? RQ3 : Which influencing factor has the most significant influence on the intention to use Youtube again?
The current 4.0 era with the outstanding development of technology, especially the Internet, entertainment on the Internet has become a trend in the world and the most famous and popular social network is probably Youtube. This study explores the different factors that influence the behavior of using Youtube by applying a quantitative approach. I will create an online survey with about 140 participants. The survey will consist of 20 questions. After collecting the data I will conduct research and analyze the results.
I discovered various things that need to be looked at in the area of how Youtube affects people's lives based on the data I discovered from earlier studies. Therefore, in this section, they will be listed as: ļ Research on people's around the world Youtube usage habits. ļ Benefits that Youtube brings. ļ The harm that Youtube brings. ļ Draw comments on the use of Youtube.
This study was conducted in the following order: Step 1 : Identify a research topic based on the range that the brief provided. Step 2 : Conduct the review literature to understand the background, research gaps, and areas that require further exploration. Step 3 : Formulate research questions that I want to answer in my research. Step 4 : Determine the methodology that will be used to collect data for my research. (In my study, I choose the online survey with both quantitative and qualitative questions) Step 5 : Send the online survey to participants (my targeted participants are students of Greenwich university) Step 6 : Collect data and analyze data by applying some techniques. Step 7 : Interpret the results from analyzed data and draw conclusions based on the research questions. By conducting the research process, it provides me with a systematic approach to conducting research, which helps ensure that all aspects of the research project are well-organized and structured. Moreover, the research process includes the development of a study design, data collection methods, and sampling strategy, which helps to ensure that data is collected in a systematic and coherent manner.
In the primary research, I applied the survey method with both qualitative and quantitative questions to gain data from participants. As a result, I gained some benefits:
ļ· Because online surveys are often self-selected, they may not be representative of the overall population. As a result, biased samples may be produced that may not correctly reflect the ideas and opinions of the general community. ļ· The questions in my online surveys are mostly quantitative, which may not allow for a thorough examination of research issues. This may restrict the research's ability to provide insights. ļ· Respondents in my survey may give socially desired answers or may not answer questions accurately, generating response bias in the results. This can lead to erroneous or misleading results. ļ· Online surveys may contain mistakes and errors, such as respondents supplying the missing or wrong information. As a result, I have limited control over data quality in online surveys, which might impact the findings' validity and reliability.
Like the online survey method, I faced some disadvantages when conducting a literature review. ļ· Usually, one of the obvious shortcomings when conducting a literature review is limited to existing research, which may be biased or incomplete. As a result, I face some difficulties to gain suitable findings. ļ· The quality and usefulness of review resources can vary widely. When selecting sources, I must proceed very carefully and verify that they are peer-reviewed and reliable. ļ· Synthesizing the findings of multiple sources is the most challenging task for me, especially if the sources report conflicting findings or use different methodologies. ļ· Time-consuming is also a problem when conducting the literature review, especially, when I want to broaden or when I need to sift through a large volume of sources.
Both the modern survey technique and the literature review are essential research methodologies that were used in combination to complete my research study. Modern survey methods entail directly collecting data from participants via questionnaires, whereas literature reviews involve reviewing and synthesizing existing literature on modern methods topic. The relationship between the modern survey method and literature review in conducting the research can be viewed in the following ways: ļ· A literature review can generate survey questions or interpret survey results through existing research. In my research, the literature review was used to identify gaps in current research that were addressed with a survey.
ļ· The literature review can be used to confirm survey findings or to give additional evidence to assist the survey results. For example, a survey may identify a trend or pattern that is consistent with the findings of previous studies identified in a literature review. ļ· Findings from a survey and literature review can be integrated to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the research topic. In my research, survey results have been compared and contrasted with existing literature, which helps me accurately give out my research results. Generally, the survey approach and the literature review are supportive and dependent when doing research. Researchers can obtain a more solid understanding of the research issue and produce more strong conclusions and suggestions by combining both methodologies.
In order to make sure the research is on track and to know what to expect in the next phase, I created a project plan. The project plan includes the tasks to be performed with each specific timeline, making sure not to miss any part. Specifically, I used the Work-Breakdown structure to divide the work into various parts. By applying the WBS method in my research, it's easier to estimate the time and resources needed for each task and to create a realistic project schedule. In regards to updating the project plan, there are a lot of changes in my schedule. In carrying out the plan, many problems have arisen, so it is essential to make the appropriate adjustments to keep the research on the right track. The changes in the plan were mainly due to the project timelines, such as a delay or acceleration in the schedule. Although there were many changes during the process, I ensure that the goal I set will be achieved in the final period.

Comparative analysis can be used to analyze the efficacy of various tactics or interventions across various settings, such as industries, regions, or countries, in the context of adopting commonly utilized current approaches to reduce carbon footprint. Comparative analysis provides the advantage of deepening our understanding of the contextual factors that influence how effective the present carbon footprint reduction solutions are. For instance, a comparison of several regions may show that the regulatory environment or the availability of natural resources are key factors in the success of renewable energy projects. It can also help in the identification of best practices and approaches that can be applied in various contexts, which is another advantage.
Mixed-methods approaches One of the improvements can be using mixed-methods approaches that involve using multiple research methods, such as surveys, case studies, and expert interviews, to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of modern methods. By employing different ways to collect and evaluate data, mixed-methods approaches can give a more thorough knowledge of modern methods. As a result, it can assist in addressing the limits of particular methodologies and provide a more comprehensive view of my study issue. Risk management In order to make the research avoid possible problems, risk management can be performed. Normally, risk management is a process of identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in order to minimize the impact of potential negative events. Risk management in the context of discovering effective techniques for reducing carbon footprint can assist in identifying possible risks and uncertainties connected with the research project and developing methods to manage these risks. Some benefits of risk management in the improvement of future research: ļ· Increased reliability of research findings: Risk management can help to identify potential biases, errors, or limitations in the research design, which can help to improve the reliability of the research findings. ļ· Enhanced research quality: Risk management can help to improve the quality of the research by identifying potential sources of error or uncertainty, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks. ļ· Reduced costs and delays: Risk management can help to reduce the costs and delays associated with research by identifying potential risks early on in the research process, and developing strategies to manage these risks. Collaborative research with businesses that are applying modern methods
Collaboration with the industry might give insights into the practical difficulties and possibilities associated with implementing current carbon-reduction technologies, which could help with the identification of effective implementation strategies. Future research could involve collaborative research projects with industry partners to ensure the relevance and applicability of the research findings. Moreover, collaborative research with industry can provide access to specialized expertise and resources that may not be available within the university. For example, industry partners may have access to state-of-the-art technologies, specialized equipment, and technical expertise that can enhance the research project. Using life-cycle assessments Life-cycle assessments involve analyzing the environmental impacts of a system throughout its entire life cycle, from raw material extraction to disposal. Future research could use life-cycle assessments to evaluate the environmental impacts of modern methods to reduce carbon, which could help to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making. Besides, LCA can be used to evaluate the environmental impacts of different modern methods for reducing carbon emissions, allowing me to identify the most effective approaches for reducing carbon emissions.
After performing research on contemporary tactics for lowering carbon footprints, I have come to the conclusion that there are many efficient technologies and strategies available to lower carbon emissions and encourage sustainability in the IT industry. Some potential contemporary techniques include virtualization, cloud computing, renewable energy, and energy-efficient hardware. Companies in the IT industry can lessen their carbon footprint and support international efforts to lessen the effects of climate change by using these cutting-edge practices. There were a few errors made in the analysis and presentation of the results overall since this was my first study. I became aware of my shortcomings as I went through the research process. Also, performing the research has given me a lot of helpful knowledge, particularly in the field of media. Together with helping to create sustainable development in the digital revolution, I also hope that my research can significantly lower the carbon footprint of the media. References
