Date Activity/Description Comment on the Activity – Impact on EPQ (change in methodology, validity or usefulness of research, timetable schedule, link to additional research, supervisor comments) Deciding which type of epq to pick When I was introduced to the EPQ in my first lesson I was given 2 different options to choose from which made me question if I was going to do an artifact or written epq and what the positives and negatives of each would entail. This ensured I knew what each different type of EPQ was like which helped with decision making of which to do. Finalising my decision on which type of epq to do After a week’s thought I made my decision on doing a written EPQ due to my question ideas and lack of ideas for an artifact that would interest me to do. This ensured I had the right option picked for which EPQ type to do Thinking of topics I could choose from From choosing the written EPQ I started thinking of ideas for questions/topics. The vast amount of topics to choose from made it difficult to decide which topic to narrow it down to. I started making questions about agriculture as my broad topic but narrowing it down with my 3 different questions to different sections. This made sure I had a few options to pick from that followed a topic but allowed me to choose a specific part of that topic
