User Prototype Materials – Outline
This has two parts: an implementation report for the user interface prototype and the user
interface prototype itself.
Implementation Report - Outline
1. Requirements Implemented. Which of the requirements have been implemented in
the user interface prototype, in terms of the vision statement features, use cases and
supplementary specifications. (In theory, all of the requirements for version 1 of the
software should be included.)
2. Design – An overview of the user interface design, including how you modeled your
users, taken from the results of your user analysis
3. Acceptance Testing – Which acceptance test cases were used to test the user
interface prototype, and what the results of that testing were.
User Interface Prototype
The user interface prototype itself should contain all of the screens from the actual
prototype, with the same transitions between screens as will exist in the actual software
(e.g. using a link to go from one web page to another, or selecting a menu item to go from
one window to another).
Submission
You should post to your web page the following:
The Implementation Report for the user interface prototype
An RAR file for the user interface prototype with the following
components:
The source code for your user interface prototype
Instructions on how to make the source code run in a readme.txt file
Any other artifacts that are needed to get the prototype to run
