Roberto Zicari is Co-founder and Vice-President ofthe Association for the Scientific and Industrial Cooperationbetween Italy and Germany (ACIS).Editor ODBMS.ORG portal: www.odbms.orgFrom 1991 till September 2004, he was President and Co-founder of a German firm specialized in creating andrunning IT events in Europe.

Previously he was associated professor at Politecnico di Milano,Italy; visiting scientist at IBM Almaden Research Center, USA,and University of California at Berkeley, US; visiting professor atEPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland and the National University ofMexico City. Mexico. Roberto Zicari is an internationallyrecognized expert in the fields of object technology, databases,and e-commerce. He combines a solid scientificbackground with multi years experience in marketing, sales andevent branding. Roberto Zicari holds a doctor of engineeringdegree from Politecnico di Milano.
