What is a voltage?
Difference in the potentials between two points is called potential difference or voltage between two points.
Working of voltmeter?
Voltmeter is a device that is connected between two points to measure its potential. It is connected in parallel across the required area. In ideal case it has infinite resistance so that it may not become another way for current to pass. It acts as an open circuit in ideal case.
Voltage regulator
Voltage regulator is device that controls voltage according to our need manually.
Construction:
First of all take a board on which the components can be fitted, Connect all the components according to the need. First of all
take phase wire connect it to the first terminal of the regulator now connect the second terminal of the regulator with the first terminal of the socket and connect the second terminal of the socket with the neutral wire directly. Connect the digital voltmeter across the socket so that it is connected in parallel with the load.
