1: Checking if a person is responsive
2: Check for breathing
3: Check for circulation and sever external bleeding.
A scene size up determines if a scene is safe. The importance of it is to protect bystanders from the danger that is present.
1: Person is responsive, Confirm breathing and person is alert. Ask a person what there name is, place, time, and event.
2: Person is unresponsive call 911 position person face up. Use RAB.
Gently tap their shoulder and ask loudly "ARE YOU OKAY" Any type of moaning, movement or they answer the person is responsive.

2: Tell them you are a trained professional
3: Ask for consent
4: Test ability to remember
