1. Use the iHuman score sheet to review your results for the focused health history and focused physical exam. How did you perform? I successfully identified and recorded all the significant patient symptoms and health history features during the focused health history part. I achieved 89% completion in the focused physical exam section. I examined the patients accurately in 13 out of 25 cases and entered appropriate data for two more cases. These results indicate that even though the health history was obtained in full, interpreting and performing physical examinations in a virtual setting continues to pose difficulties for many newcomers to virtual patient platforms (Sezer et al., 2023). 2. What did you find easy or difficult about navigating through the focused health history and focused physical exam sections of the case? I found it straightforward to collect detailed histories from my patients thanks to the virtual platform which led me down a systematic path of questions. However, the focused physical exam posed greater challenges because of the need to execute virtual exam maneuvers and interpret faint clues without seeing the patient in person. This problem is consistent with studies that show
extensive information enables clinical reasoning and adheres to clinical completeness requirements in virtual care.
3. Describe one strategy to improve your performance in the next Virtual Patient Encounter. I will incorporate structured templates that identify important positive and negative elements which helps improve the accuracy and efficiency of my documentation. This approach is backed by studies demonstrating that structured training improves the quality of clinical notes in virtual consultations (Plackett et al., 2022). **C.
