Introduction - Answer-We'll be doing a lot of things today like looking at pictures, answering questions, and working with blocks. Some things may be easy for you and some may be hard. Try your best. Block Design - Answer-See these blocks? They are all alike. Some sides are all red, some sides are all white, some sides are half red and half white. Examples: Watch me make my block look just like this. Now you make one look like this. Work as fast as you can and tell me when you're done. Go ahead. If incorrect: watch me again (use child's blocks). Now you try again and make one like this. Items 10-13: now make one like this using all 9 blocks. Work as fast as you can and tell me when you're done. Go ahead. Similarities - Answer-I'm going to say 2 words and I want you to tell me how they're alike. In what way are 3 and 4 alike? Coding 120sec or 2min (young than 8) - Answer-Look at these shapes. Each shape has its own special mark. Down here the shapes are empty. I will show you how to draw the right mark in each shape.

After I look at all of the pictures, I choose 3. If I put them together in my mind they would make this puzzle. Now you try one. Which 3 pieces go together to make this puzzle. That's right if you put those 3 pieces next to each other they will make this puzzle. You have to turn this piece in your mind to make it fit. Let's try some more. Which 3 pieces go together to make this puzzle? Picture Span - Answer-Look at this picture. Point to the picture I just showed you. Incorrect: not quite right try again. These pics are in order. This one is first, this one is next. Point to the pictures in the order I showed you. Symbol Search (120 sec) - Answer-If I see this shape over here I mark it like this. If I don't see this shape over here I mark the NO box. Even though this shape looks like this shape, I don't mark it because it is turned the wrong way.
