Nowadays, many of us complain that local authorities don’t have any kind of
autonomy nor flexibility when it comes to look for what matters in their areas,
since they tend to spend public funds on unnecessary things, for example
parking’s for electric scooters.
Nevertheless there are other facilities which should be receiving that money, but
the real question is: which ones?
To start off with, sports centers are the main ones that deserve it because they
play such an important role in promoting physical activity and social interaction
as well. In addition, athletes have the chance to use the newest equipments and
be able to work out in better conditions rather than at home, where not
everyone may dispose of heated swimming pools or even treadmills. Therefore,
that means healthier people and less illnesses.
On the other hand, museums are also vitally to society because they are really
useful to get to know the history of particular sites and its past while enjoying art
and culture. Moreover, they enhance education and make us smarter due to the
new knowledge we gain. Besides that they inspire, too, and help to provide new
perspectives and new ideas that could be use afterwards.
To sum up, I believe that the most common out of the two points discussed are
sports arenas. And last they currently offer a wide variety of everything at all
levels. For this reason, they ought to get more money because they provide
positive effects to the vast majority.

Thanks a lot for your letter. It’s been so long since we last saw each other. So
how are you doing? I’ve heard you have finally been hired by that international
business company that you really wanted to work for, congratulations!!! It must
be so exciting, I’d love to hear more about your new job.
