People stood and waited as the crowd grew larger
and larger, surrounding the stage. The band was
getting ready to play while the people were pointing
at their instruments, trying to decide which song
was
going to start the concert. Others relaxed on the
benches further off, sipping beer. Even if most
arrived alone, the day created a feeling of
comradery, leading them to establish new
friendships.
But then the band started playing.
After eating, a man reached into his pocket and
dragged his phone out with a greasy hand. Clouds
rolled in, and blotted out the sun. The lights of the
phones masked the faces in the crowd in a ghoulish
blue light slowly faces became covered by blue
lights
projected by phones aimed towards the stage. Birds
flew away in fear as the sound got louder and
louder,
and because of the growing number of people the
breeze was now inaudible.
Blank emotions covered the once smiley faces
of the people which lead to the fade away of the
feeling of comradery established before.
The kids now are standing still near their parents in
fear of getting crushed between the crowd as the
clouds slowly covered the sky above, until the
horizon.
After hours of chaos, after billions of snapchats,
photos
and videos taken, all became quiet, the concert was
over.
