● Macbeth is suffering just imagining the killing of the king= he says that if everything finises after the murder, it would be better for Mac to kill him immediatly

LINE 2 ● The problem is that Maccan’t hide the consequences of the murder LINE 8 ● because Duncan is good LINE 9 ● When we teach to commit evil , evil returns to those who thought it ( Macbeth) LINE 16- ● Macbeth knows the difference between good and evil ● 3 reasons to defend the king: Macbeth is the thane of the king, he is the cousin of the king, the king is in Macbeth’s castle, Duncan has been a good king = his virtues are compared to angels who will cry against the assassin ● trumpet tongued= sound that will spread the virtues of Duncan through the universe LINE 21- ● pity: pietas ● newborn babe: symbol of being armlessness but really he is powerful ( he can horse) LINE 25- ● moment of relief ● Mac has changed idea ● mac is compared to a Knight who fells from his horse because of his too much ambition ● Mac seems to be afraid of the final judgment
