INTRODUCTION

The blog I've created has the function of guiding those people who want to tame their bird during their first week at home for the rest of their lives. My purpose is that people enjoy a little more of these animals and do not spend the whole life in the cage without being able to go out or relate to their owners. This guide narrates in parallel the history of Zurro, a bird which

day work on the blog. For this I selected a template called Contempo that allowed me to give a good visibility to the pages and a linear view of the entries.

However I changed the default colors by a range of colors that are more related to nature (we are talking about pets), and the sources used as you can see in the mock-up, to give a didactic aspect at the same time entertaining and modern. I thought it was important to keep the presentation entry in a prominent way so that it understand just open the blog what it consists of and what is my purpose. With the introduction of an icon wanted to give a more professional look that enhances the visual content of the whole blog.

The sidebar is located to the left of the screen and it displays contact data and file labels that can help the reader to find files and blog entries in a simpler and more straightforward way.

Finally we can say that the selected template makes that when you lower the bar to read the entries the title of the blog and the icon stand out at the top, giving a greater sense of professionalism.

As a conclusion we could say that the mix of designs makes the blog has a modern look that fits all audiences no matter of age range, is also dynamic at the same time as linear creating a situation of space and low density with the parts clearly differentiated in the header.

FONT

The type of font I used for the title of the blog is the "Lobster " in large size that does not refer to the blog, but is a kind of presentation on the knowledge that can be acquired. The source used in the masthead is the "Sue Ellen Francisco ", which expresses dynamism and modernity knowing that inside we will find multimedia contents like images and photos.

I wanted to use a different type of source for the texts of the entries in order to be a reading of greater comprehension and that the reader is not tired at the time of reading the blog (Neucha). This typeface has seemed to me to combine the typeface that we find in the masthead with a more formal typeface such as "Arial " or "Times New Roman " with which more dense digital texts are reproduced. Therefore we can say that, although the typefaces vary with each other since they are not the same, all of them in themselves are cohesionan and complemented without contrasts. We can say that the variability of fonts makes this blog does not have a strictly professional character and is related to the scope of blogs liniares more common and look like "child " 1. However, the combination of typefaces brings dynamism and movement when it comes to reading the blog.

There are underlined parts in the day by day section that emphasize the day in which we meet to understand better the reading. I used such big fonts to remark the days in the main page in order to let the reader know about this is a chronological blog mixed with modern style website.

COLORS

The palette of colors I've used relate to nature. Therefore, in the background of the masthead and in the range of colors used in the files, the green color predominates. In addition, when you select a page of the header changes color to green, aclarándote on which page you find. As in the combination of font types, I also wanted to choose different ranges of green that are different from each other but that overlap in a very colorful way in order to give the audience a not complicated view but dinamic from this point of view. WRITTING

The writing style of the post, with the use of all of these types of fonts suggests informality and immediacy, even if capitalization is standard (thus not denoting any internet-specific usage). In the blog post, sentences are quite long, with a syntax recalling spoken language 2 such as “ As you have seen during the first week we can make our bird domestic. Training for this to recognize your calls and start doing tricks like spinning or picking up objects take longer and many repetitions”. I also wanted to introduce readers: “ So this is Zurro and you"ll see he´s improvements” and to be expontaneous: “ His first hours at home were very frightened (as is normal)”

INTERACTIVITY

I´ve created an instagram account of zurro´s life in order to increase the audience and promote my blog. The instagram account is: zurro_cazurro_azurro and it´s providing daily a sort of videos, images and interactions with other pets accounts. Instagram has nowadays more followers than people who use blogger so I thought this could be a good idea an now is working. Also i provided my account and a formulary of contact to keep people in touch if their have doubts. I lend as well one youtube chanel I used to learn everything about bird when I was child, from there I took all the advices and my first steps onto this world. Finally I provided a few blogs taking about budgies concretely so people can contrast knowledge and being part of the sharing community.
