1. Present Simple
Usage: For actions that are regular, facts, habits, and things that are
always true.
To talk about routines, habits, facts, and general truths.
Key Words:
- Always
- Every day/week

- Usually
- Sometimes

Examples:
- I play football every Saturday.
- She lives in London.
- The sun rises in the east.
When do we use it?
Routine: I go to school every day.
Facts: Water boils at 100°C.
Habit: He always forgets his keys.
Form:
- Subject + Base Verb
- I/You/We/They + play
- He/She/It + plays
Form: Subject + base verb (for he/she/it, add -s to the verb).

Visual Suggestions: 
  • Split layout: One side for Present Simple and the other for Present Continuous.
  • Icons: Use a sun for Present Simple to show regularity, and a clock for Present Continuous to emphasize actions happening now.
  • Example illustrations: A character performing an action daily (e.g., playing football) on the Present Simple side, and the same character playing football at that exact moment for the Present Continuous.

Visual Aid Suggestions:

Timeline : Show a timeline with Present Simple at regular intervals (everyday habits) and Present Continuous in a "happening now" bubble.  Pictures : You could include images of daily activities (like eating breakfast, going to school) for Present Simple, and action-oriented images (like running, typing) for Present Continuous.
