- (^) Preparations for the New Year begin a couple of weeks before the big day. Acording to the traditions, this is the time to clean the house, get hair cut, set off fireworks, pr epare food for the feast and make banners and decorations special for the New Year.

four ‘Lucky Mascots’ are Dragon,
Phoenix, Unicorn and Dragon
