WHAT IS STEAM

Then the staff the check the report to ensure the report is valid or not. If the report was incorrect, the staff will send their feedback and correction to the user. If the the report was correct, the staff will working to fix the bugs. After fixing the bugs, the staff have to update the laucher. And then, user will received the patch note about the bugs and the new bug-free version of the launcher. When received the notification, user will update the launcher to the newer version with out the bugs they reported before.
