America – A Daughter of Babylon 1 – LITERAL BABYLON A PLAYER?
Is America Babylon prophesied about in scripture?
There are many ideas about who/ what/ where Babylon / Daughter of Babylon / Mystery Babylon are located.
There are many out there that say that the LITERAL Babylon will be rebuilt and rise up. But let’s really look at that.
LITERAL Babylon Today??
Now that the war has been over, the UN did not step in and help rebuild what Saddam was starting. The US has only given money helping rebuilding Saddam’s palace into a hotel that sits on a hill overlooking the Babylon ruins.

So Babylon today is not the mega business center that many of us believe it could be.
Here is an actual picture from Google maps of Babylon today.
To back this up, Matthew in his reciting of Christ's generations follow the Psalms 90: definition of a generation, 70 years.
Matthew 1:17 (KJV) So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
Matthew is using the Psalm 90 definitions of generation in order to tell a specific chronological time story of our Lord Jesus Christ. So if Matthew is using it pertaining to and qualifying our Lord, we should use it also.
So with all that said, and just doing simple math, 1948 + 70 years comes to 2018.
Today is September 18, 2015. 2018 is about 2.5 years away.
Even looking at the building taking place in Duibai, which right now is where most of the world’s high-rise cranes are located. The speed they are building with the bulldozers, cranes, workforce, ect; the building would need to start today if it was to be a global complex to rule the world.
QUESTIONS
Based on what we have seen here, what is the probability that “literal” Babylon is the same Babylon spoken about in scripture?
How large is literal Babylon today?
IF we are the Final Generation that is spoken about in scripture, approximately how much time is left till the end of the generation based on a 1948 date?
What is the caveat to the 1948 date based on Psalms 90:
If God chooses to put the caveat in play then when does the generation end in light of Psalms 90:10?
What is YOUR opinion on a literal Babylon, is it the same spoken about in scripture or could we possibly see a “duel fulfillment” where America is a player? PLEASE EXPLAIN
