P1:a ) Describe the potential target audience for your digital portfolio; Answer to P1 a.-
The target audience gender for my Digital Portfolio will be both men and women for ages to 18 and up to 29 and for anyone in that age range that enjoys computing and technology. In terms of my target audience at MIT, I believe my target audience will be fairly clever. They will have previous qualifications in computing and likely in a degree level. In terms of wages they will be well paid because they work in such a big institution. In terms of nationality my target audience will probably be American as MIT is based in America. However it is important that I make sure that my portfolio is multi-cultural.
P1:b) Describe the purpose of your digital portfolio, ensuring that you answer the following questions What is the job of your digital portfolio? What benefits and advantages will your digital portfolio bring?;
Answer to P1.b;
- The first job of my digital portfolio is to advertise myself to the people at MIT. I can do this by choosing a good selection of quality of work that I have produced this year. Hopefully this will mean that I will put myself in a good position to get the job at MIT.
The next purpose of my digital portfolio is to showcase my work to other employers and possibly other places of study. This digital portfolio would work well if I was looking to apply for a university.
- The first benefit of my digital portfolio is that it is created using wordpress. The first benefit of this is of that it uses the Wordpress template to look professional. The other
