Extreme Wide Shot (EWS) - answer -The View is so far from the subject that the subject isn't even visible. The point of this shot is to show the subjects surroundings. Wide Shot (WS) - answer -The subject takes the entire full frame. The subject should not take the entire width and length of frame. Their should be safty room on top and below the subject. Very Wide Shot (VWS) - answer -The very wide shot is much closer to the subject than an extreme wide shot, but still further away from a Wide Shot. The empethis is showing the subjects in the environment of where she is. Mid Shot (MS) - answer -The Mid Shot shows some part of the subject in more detail, while showing enough for the audience to feel as if they were looking at the entire subject. Close Up (CU) - answer -In the Close up Shot, a certain feature of part of the subject takes up most of the frame. A close-up of a person usually means a close up of their face. Close ups are used to show detail and used as a cut-in. Medium Close Up (MCU) - answer -The Medium Close-Up is halfway between a mid shot and a close up. This shows the face more clearly without getting unconformity close.
Extreme Close Up (ECU) - answer -The ECU shows extreme detail of a subject Two Shot - answer -A comfortable shot of two people. Often used as interview, or two people presenting something Over the Shoulder Shot (OSS) - answer -Looking from behind a person at the subject, cutting off the frame just behind the ears. The subject should occupy about 1/3 of the frame. Point of View Shot (POV) - answer -Shows a view from the subjects perspective. This shot id usually edited in such a way that it is obvious who the POV is. Cut-In (CI) - answer -Like a cutaway, but specifically refers to showing some part of the subjects detail. Noddy Shot - answer -Common in interviews, this shot of the person listening and reacting to the subject. Usually shown at the end of the interview and have to be edited in. Weather Shot - answer -The subject is the weather, and the sky should take up at least 2/3 of the frame. This type of shot is common in television programs when the weather is the particular interest. Cutaway (CA) - answer -A cutaway is a shot that usually of something other than the current action. It could be a different subject, a close up of a different part of the subject, or just anything else. Usually a filler in shot.
