Summary, Conclusions, and Recommendations
This chapter consist of the summary of the findings revealed in the study
together with the conclusions drawn and the recommendations suggested by the
researchers about the said study.
Summary
This research aimed to identify the effects of social media utilization on the
study habits of Tanauan City Integrated High School Grade 9 STE students under
school year 2022-2023.
Ideally, this research is to answer the following questions:
1. What is the level of social media utilization of the respondents?
2. Determine the study habits of the respondents.
3. Is there a significant relationship between social media utilization and study
habits among the students?
4. What plan of activities may be suggested to do once the study research is
completed?
Findings
The respective findings were derived from the results of the analysis which
was from the developed study is included:
1. Level of social media utilization of the students
The highest weighted mean of 3.62 interpreted as always is the level of social
media utilization by the respondents with the parameter “to relieve academic
stress”. On the other hand, the lowest weighted mean of 2.94 interpreted as

“Excellence is our Culture” Chapter V Summary, Conclusions, and Recommendations This chapter consist of the summary of the findings revealed in the study together with the conclusions drawn and the recommendations suggested by the researchers about the said study. In doing so, this illustrates the students' use of social media as a form of entertainment in order to relieve their academic stress. Furthermore, social media is often not used by students for making friends and maintaining relationships.

2. Effects of social media related to study habits According to the results collected, students get a lot from using social media in terms of its positive effects, which essentially have a good impact on their study habits with the composite mean of 3.48 and is verbally interpreted as always. Along with that, the results showed that social media also has its negative impact and is verbally interpreted as often through its mean of 2.54. 3. Relationship between social media utilization and study habits Data analysis revealed that the variables obtained an r-coefficient of 0.486272 and a p-value of 0.00001, demonstrating the significant relationship between social media usage and study habits. As a result, the null hypothesis is rejected. This suggests that the utilization of social media influences students' study habits and can be regarded as an educational tool. 4. Proposed activities and intervention plan Based on the findings presented, proposed intervention plan is presented to keep tabs on social media utilization and further analyze the study habits of the students (Appendix A). Conclusions In line with the results from the study, the researchers were able to draw the following conclusions:

Furthermore, it would give them the idea of what are the important skills their^ “Excellence is our Culture” child must acquire by lessening the usage of social media platforms.
