CHM130 – Getting Started Assignment
I am taking a chemistry class as a prerequisite for my nursing program. However, I do believe
that chemistry is essential for understanding the human body and how medications work. As a
nurse, I will need to be able to administer medications safely and effectively, and this requires a
strong understanding of chemistry. In this class, I hope to achieve a deeper understanding of
certain chemistry concepts. I expect that you will provide me with clear and concise explanations
of the course material, as well as opportunities to practice what I have learned. I believe that with
your help, I can be successful and achieve my goal of becoming a nurse.
