There are four major components of
Database System.

Hardware
The physical components of a computer system are
called hardware. Hardware is used to perform a
different tasks such as input, output, storage and
processing.

Software
(^) Software is a collection of program used by computer within a database system. The most important software is DBMS. (^) Operating System (^) Application Program and utility Program (^) DBMS Software
