Construction User Guide

Introduction

This document focuses on Construction Module and its subsequent sub modules. It is compiled in language that a non-

technical person can understand easily. As the Construction application is web based, screenshots for the different

interfaces to be used by each distinct stakeholder are included supported by clear and precise steps. This user manual

is comprised of only Construction Module.

Login page

Log in to System Means when one user needs to login and use the system first he/she has to have the user account

then how you have to log in to the system follow the steps which is below and see the screen shoot of the log in

page.

1. Login to system

The user must follow the following steps to login to the system.

• Open the browser of internet explorer/chrome/Mozilla
• Write the IP address of the web-based system (ERP SYSTEM) and click Enter button from the keyboard/click the

search sign

▪ Click Login which is on the right side of the corner of the system

▪ Login screen and home page of the system will appear.

▪ Then Enter/write your username and password

▪ Then click login button

▪ After successful login you will get the page where you can perform your activities

Steps to Add Labor Cost:

1. Click on Inputs,

2. Click on the parameter (tab) you want to work on,

3. Click the Add New Button.

Estimation – Project Estimation Sub-Module.

This Sub-Module lets you insert basic estimation information of any project at hand.

Steps: - Login → Click Construction→ Click Project Estimation→ Click Estimation →Click

Project Estimation

Then you will get the information displayed.

Estimation – Copy Estimation Sub-Module.

This Sub-Module enables you to copy the estimation of any project in to the scheduling page,

which eases the scheduling.

Steps: - Login → Click Construction→ Click Project Estimation→ Click Estimation →Click

Copy Estimation

Then you will get the information displayed.

Estimation – Clone Estimation Sub-Module.

This Sub-Module copies the whole entities of a project to another project.

Steps: - Login → Click Construction→ Click Project Estimation→ Click Estimation →Click

Clone Estimation

Then you will get the information on the right side.

Estimation – Price BOQ Sub-Module.

This Sub-Module displays a revised BOQ for each project.

Steps: - Login → Click Construction→ Click Project Estimation→ Click Estimation →Click

Price BOQ

Then you will get the information on the right side.

Estimation – Summary of BOQ Sub-Module.

This Sub-Module displays a summarized BOQ for each Project.

Steps: - Login → Click Construction→ Click Project Estimation→ Click Estimation →Click

Summary of BOQ

Then you will get the information displayed.

Resource Utilization Sub-Module.

This Sub-Module user can insert Resource Utilization Periods with their corresponding

Descriptions.

Steps: - Login → Click Construction→ Click Costing → Click Resource Utilization

Then you will get the information displayed.

Resource Utilization and Project Consumption pages can be used once a project’s

estimation is finished, Started and Approved.

Project Consumption Sub-Module.

This Sub-Module displays the detailed Project Expenses of all projects..

Steps: - Login → Click Construction→ Click Costing → Click Project Consumption

Then you will get the information displayed.

4. Costing Services Sub Module

Payment Certificate Sub-Module.

This Sub-Module contains the details of Advance Payment and Payment Certificate; users can

insert information regarding Payment Certificate.

Steps: - Login → Click Construction→ Click Billing → Click Payment Certificate

Then you will get the information displayed.

Payment information of a project can only be inserted, only if the particular project is

Approved.
