Disk-Head Scheduling Algorithms: Comparison of FCFS, SSTF, SCAN, LOOK, C-SCAN, and C-LOOK , Study notes of Operating Systems

Charts comparing the various disk-head scheduling algorithms (fcfs, sstf, scan, look, c-scan, and c-look) in terms of request order, head motion, and waiting motion. The charts illustrate how each algorithm services a set of disk requests and the resulting impact on head motion and waiting time.
