I think your post is one of the best so far. You are on the point, answering the instructors' questions accurately. I really like your second paragraph point that UoP is leading students to understand each other's cultures. Very important aspect in the era of globalization, especially when you have to deal with possible clients and co-workers from all over the word. Try not no forget the references next time. Keep up the good work!

That's cool when you helping your family and other people. I have learned many things by reading your response. I think we have some thinking about Collaborative learning and that's cool. As you know in my country we don't use Collaborative learning in our universities. The instructors in Yemen just do lectures and go then they give us an exam.

The bene ts of collaborative learning are endless. You not only will learn to work with others in a team like fashion, but will learn new information that you didn’t know previously. This also helps you to learn how to value the opinion of others as well. In this setting you will use problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and oral communication. This will also help improve social interactions as well as work on interpersonal relationships. There is so much that can be developed from this type of setting. I personally feel that collaborative learning is more than just working in the college setting, but betters us in the outside world as well.
The University of the People integrates community-oriented learning into the classroom in many di erent ways. First of all, having an open discussion forum every week helps us to work together to learn the material. We also learn to value the opinions of others. Responding to a peer’s discussion piece helps us to also accept and grow from criticism. Per University of the People website “Learning how to work e ectively in a group strengthens important skills like communication and compromise.” These skills will be very useful not just in the classroom setting, but the workforce that we enter as well. Having us critique each other’s written assignments is also a great way to work together.
We want to see everyone succeed, and it is a great way to make this happen. When I was in high school we did many group projects. However, we never had the opportunity to do discussions where we responded to each other. Group projects were a great way though to build relationships as well as help each other learn new information. We learned to respect opinions, and to take criticism from others.
