Scenario for P4 and P You are working for Northwind traders as a sales Manager and are required to describe the MIS system that you use to the board of directors. Task One – P4 & P5: P4: Describe the features and functions of information systems P5: Identify the information systems used in a specified organisation You should describe the features of information systems and explain which one it would be used in Northwind Traders and why.. This should include what information you will gather from customers, where it will go in the organisation and why. For P6 learners should explain how they decided what data they would require to develop the required management information and how they checked it for accuracy. For P4 and P5 you are going to create a small report of no more than four pages of PowerPoint. When creating the PowerPoint, you will need to include the following information:
- A clear definition of Northwind Traders. (what your enterprise produces/sells. Who to? Management structure.)
- What information you will be gathering from customers and other external data used.
- Where does the information go into the organisation.
- What software will you use for the management information system.
- Include a schematic of the MIS. What to hand in: (Group submission) A PowerPoint presentation – not more than four slides. This should explain what your mini enterprise is and what information you will gather. Include a schematic of the MIS system you need.
