Discuss the similarities of the social impacts of Globalization in using the various types of Media (all of the types of media should be mentioned). Media is a way of expressing something for the sake of communication. A person's voice is technically a medium through which helps to convey information and connect people with one another. In addition to that, there are more different types of media: we have print media like books and newspapers; another type is broadcast media like radio and television; we also have digital media for electronic books, and the internet media for email, social media, and internet sites. However, how do all these types of media impact globalization? One example of media that affects globalization is social media. It is a tool for communicating and socializing with people online. This led to the formation of "information literacy." It has been democratized, which means that everyone has free access to it. As we observe, people tend to use and check their social media as part of their daily routine. In the 21st century, social media has changed the way individuals communicate. This occurrence has changed society in a globalized world by influencing social relationships, financial firms, methods of communication and transactions, and educational institutions. However, there are also dark sides to using social media that impact globalization. First is the herd mentality, in which people follow those who are popular and see them as their role models. By this concept, globalization will be affected because of people's thinking. Another disadvantage of social media is fake news, which may harm the economy of the world's connections. In addition, we have broadcast media that helps people see the current state of different countries by the use of TV. It contributed to the development of a global community as more people sat in front of their television listening to the news, and their perspectives of the world varied. Generally, all media equally expand and awaken the human senses. The media broadens the reach of communication. Making this concept, the media allows us to participate in globalization and enhances our skills in developing connections around the world. Without this all-media, it is difficult for each one of us to understand other countries' economies, culture, beliefs, and languages.
