ONE BLOODED RULERS
Political Dynasties are still dominating the Philippine Political Landscape. It
is like a chronic disease that started emerging the Philippines since the First
Republic of the Philippines was established. This has been part of the Filipino
culture despite the rules that are almost been implemented. I am not willing to
have this kind of Dynasty in our country, simply because I don’t want to see
selfishness reigning.
Lots of Provinces have Political Dynasties, people are aware but some do
not have concern about it. This work has been part of the so called family rituals
of some Filipinos. This is done to continuously pass the power and let their names
to live long. Some are against this process because others will no longer have the
chance to lead also. It is living proof that lots of Politicians are greedy for power.
The Constitution of the Philippines states in Article II Section 26 the
prohibiting of Political Dynasties but sadly it is not implemented. This usually
leads to quarrelling families and worst, broken families. In this state, it is common

government officials but no limitations for the incumbent’s family relations.
An example of Political Dynasty is the Family Binay that ruled Makati for
years until now. A quarrel has been built between Maria Lourdes Binay and
Jejomar Erwin Binay Jr. because of the struggle for the possession of being the
Mayor. Their father said that they should not hurt each other’s feelings because
they are still siblings until the end and nothing can change that.

We are the most affected with this act so we should be the one to start the change in our country. The Government must implement a law that prohibit the Political Dynasties so this wrong perception will stop. FOCUSING ON HEALTH The Senate have come to the idea of creating a law that will seek for upgrading the quality of health services for the Filipinos. This includes the equal

distribution of services for public and private health sectors. I agree with the approving of this Senate Bill because lots of Filipinos will be having a much healthier living for the future. Senate Bill 1896 or the Universal Health Care (HUC) Bill was approved by the Senate last Wednesday but it is still not a law. This will let all Filipinos to be enlightened by the National Health Insurance Program. When this becomes a law, lots of Filipinos will be able to enter a hospital without paying any fees such as consultation fees, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic services because of the expanded Philippine Health Insurance System. This law seeks to increase the number of doctors to have an equal ratio with the patients. This will also let the Filipinos to be accountable of primary health care whether it is public of private health care services. All Local Government Units will be under this law to be monitored for the service users. Creating this law would be a great help for the Filipinos with low incomes. This will be the best service that can be offered to them as part of giving more prioritization with the Filipino Citizens health. All these good services will be easily reached by the Filipinos only if the President will also approve this law. For the coming more years, the Philippines can encounter lots of different climate problems that usually leads to common diseases so the Universal Health Care Bill is really a big help for all the Filipinos. A NEW DIGITAL SOCIETY The K to 12 Curriculum has been the new and advanced version of education that is the DepEd’s strategy to develop students that can go with the flow of the new generation’s society. I agree with this Curriculum because it trains students to be more creative. This Curriculum comprises the new abilities and skills for the students to be adaptive with the new workforce’s demands. It features lot of advanced learnings to be ready for the future. Some students and parents disagree with K to 12 because of the longer year of studying in the secondary level. They said that this cannot help the
