Examples and their

possible solutions

Language barriers

To reduce the barriers, a common language such as English could be used or using simple and straightforward sentences. Visual aid could also be part of the reduction where diagrams, pictures or videos could be used

Lack of concentration

This is a common issue in the workplace. It can lead to misinterpretation of the messages and listeners might not be able to retain the important information. Allowing employees to take regular breaks can increase their concentration during the meeting. The company could also install a gym where workers can exercise regularly during their breaks. Research shows that exercising can improve concentration by increasing blood flow and oxygen to the brain.

Lack of feedback

The speaker should ask for feedback from the listeners and be specific in their requests. This help focuses on the parts that are important in the message. Reference: SimonJHudson.
