Objective: You will have the opportunity to research and become an expert on one of the elements on the periodic table. This information will be presented on a slideshow. Your project must include the following:
Guidelines You will be given 1-2 days to complete your research using the Internet in class. (Based on your productivity in class). You will present these in class. During this time, you will begin to put your project together: discover information, find uses and pictures, etc. BE SURE TO KEEP UP WITH YOUR SOURCES FOR ALL INFORMATION AND PICTURES. DO NOT USE WIKIPEDIA. Make it colorful and interesting. Use pictures, objects, drawings, diagrams, etc.; anything to appropriately draw attention to it. All slides must have a picture of the element or the use of the element on them. Be original and creative. These projects are intended to educate and entertain. You will be presenting these. You may use notecards for your information. Display your name and class period on the first slide of the slide show. DO NOT WRITE/COPY/ PASTE LARGE PARAGRAPHS OF INFORMATION ON YOUR SLIDES. NO MORE THAN 1 OR 2 SHORT SENTENCES ON EACH SLIDE. Be sure to check your grammar and spelling. At the bottom of each slide should be the links for the information and pictures.
