What is peer to peer Assessment?
Peer to peer assessment is a set of activities that help students in the act of evaluating and
providing feedbacks and ratings on the work of their peers.
Peer to peer learning is an important aspect of University of the People’s unique educational
model.
Peer to peer assessment in Uopeople is a process in which the instructor post question/s
on Written Assignments or discussion forum, (related to the topic we are learning during that
week), students then submit their assignment/ reply to the post, write their view on the post, then
rate and comment on three of their peer’s work.
Why peer to peer assessment is used at University of the People?
It is used because it connects students from different backgrounds, cultures and races, all around
the world together. Peer to Peer assessment makes it possible for Uopeople to build a vibrant,
international network and to share information, wisdom, and support.
What are the Advantages of Peer to Peer Assessments?
The system of Peer Assessments is designed to give students skills that will prove helpful and
necessary throughout their educational and professional careers. The first of these is the fostering
