Family Planning means controlling the number of children a family has so that the family size and the overall population c an be balanced in today’s times. If there is no control on how much a family's income grows, the birth rate has been increasing a lot, which will have serious consequences. With the current rate at which the population is growing, Pakistan is expected to reach 240 million people by 20 25 , compared to just 110 million now. This would c ancel out any economic progress. There's already a food shortage in Paki stan, so people can't feed themselves properly. Because of this, it 's very important to
control the population growth. Every rupee spent on a Family Planning Program is worth 12 to 13 rupees spent on other things.The idea of Family Planning is simple, but putting it into action is very tough. First, in Pakistan, boys and girls often marry very young and have children until they have more than five kids. Many people get married more than once, which makes the number of children even higher. This makes it hard to give their families enough food, c lothes, and other needs like education and training. Second, many people in our country are not educated. They are not comfortable talking about things related to sex. Also, they believe that having children is something that God decides, and even a blessing. So, what we need most is to educate people so they understand the importance of Family Planning.To carry out Family Planning, we c an use several methods. First, we should focus on producing more food so that the population won’t become too big. This would make people richer and able to support larger families. Second, we s hould encourage people to get married later so they can provide a better life for their families. Third, people should use medicines that help control c hildbirth. They can get advice from family planning c enters. Lastly, we should always have control over ourselves. Self-control is the best way to manage this.The Government of Pakistan is trying hard to spread awareness about Family Planning. A big Family Planning Program has been started.
