Dialogue Maya, her mom, and the church. Maya, her mom, and the church. I kept the dialogue between Maya, her mom, and the church same. Intentional Narrative Technique Change Plot is used to explain what is going on in the story and gives us a brief explanation of the character etc. Plot is used to explain what is going on in the story and gives us a brief explanation of the character etc. Plot is one of the most important parts of telling a story and what is going to happen. Reflection Reflection on my narrative is that I made many changes on the scene that I choose to rewrite. The scene I chose to rewrite from the beginning of the book is where Maya is getting ready to go to church but then is discriminated against for her skin color. But the change that I made was that I made it where Maya gains this new confidence where knows that she is beautiful, and it doesn’t matter about her race or skin color. Also, I made the change where she gains the confidence to stand up for herself against the church. Unless Otherwise Noted All Content © 2022 Florida Virtual School.
