Veggie, Marry Me believes that accomplishing corporate social responsibility is an ideal way
not just to improve the company's image and achieve benefits over time but also to contribute
to the society and environment well-being. Moreover, the firmwould like to contribute to
society with the following ways:
Promotion of Healthy Eating Habit
Veggie, Marry Me would like to spread the idea of healthy eating habit through it
expansion of business. Engaging the public to healthy eating habit by offering a menu
full of healthy options dishes with reasonable prices.
Enhancing the accessibility of healthy options
Opening a restaurant that makes it accessible for people to choose healthy options by
offering quality dishes made with vegetables and fruits to let them embrace the idea of
being healthy.
Pricing Promise to Customers
As stated before, the dishes that we will serve will be sell at a reasonable price. To help
underprivileged groups to grasp public support and to gather long-term customers, we
have a pricing promise to customers that we will not increase the selling price of our
products in the first 5 years. We believe this will not cause peril in our survival but in
return we gain public support and trust.
Reducing Plastic Usage
As a business, the restaurant will put a lot of attention on being environmental-friendly.
The business will create a plan to eliminate plastic items like straws and take-out bag
plastics and other single-use plastic that will cause more damage for the environment.
These will be replaced by reusable items like metal ones or compostable cutlery for take-
away dining that will be better for the environment.
Staff Training
All people who handle food will undergo training in food safety and this training would
also cover waste reduction techniques. According to areport, the leading cause of food
waste, improper food preparation accounts for 45% of all food waste. Therefore, staff
members must understand proper food preparation, storage, and cooking techniques, as
well as how to keep the workplace tidy and prevent cross-contamination.
Family Friendly Employer & Work-Life Balance Policy
The staffs and employees that will be hired will only work for 36 hours per week on
average with well-deserved compensation. The company offer good condition
environment for the staff.
