Final Term Goals and Reflection Paper
1. From this course, I learned more about the co-op program, the various extracurricular
clubs and activities offered at Drexel, and I was also able to learn more about time
management skills. I think these topics are important because it allowed me to think
more deeply about the career choice I want to pursue, as well as getting more
involved on campus and it gave me ideas about how to stay organized in my classes.
2. I think I did work towards and achieve my goals to some extent. However, I am still
getting adjusted to college and I think I may need to work on some goals such as
getting enough sleep and time management skills.
3. I am proud that I was able to make some friends during this term and complete my
courses. I hope to make more friends and meet more people during next term and
become more involved on campus.
4. During next term, I think I need to work on becoming more involved on campus. I
would like to join some more extracurricular clubs and activities. I still need to
research some activities that I am interested in joining, but one club that I am
currently interested in is the Pre-PA club.
5. For next year’s freshman, my main advice would be to become more involved on
campus by joining clubs and extracurricular activities. This really helps you build a
connection with others and make more friends, and I wish I was more involved on
campus during my first term. In terms of academics and time management, I would
advise them to stay on track of deadlines starting from the first day of the course. I
would recommend writing down all the due dates from the syllabus into an agenda of
some sort, so they don’t turn in anything late or forget about an assignment. I am a
commuter, so my advice for anyone who is planning on commuting would be to
become friends with others who are also commuting. If you recognize someone on
the train that also happens to be a Drexel student, I advise starting a conversation with
them and trying to keep in touch. This really helped me because I would have friends
to ride the train and bus with, and it helped me feel safer, especially when I was
commuting late at night.
