DESCRIPTION OF TRANSISTOR:
A transistor is a semiconductor device that transfers a weak signal from a low resistance
circuit to a high resistance circuit. The terms trans and istor refer to the resistance
properties provided by junctions. To put it another way, it is a switching device that
regulates and amplifies electrical signals such as voltage or current.
