o Place = buildings, human made structures
o Region = area that shares culture, physical, or ecosystem, similarities with another place
o Relative location = relating your neighborhood location to something nearby / general location
o Physical system (Place Physical) = ecosystem / landforms/bodies of water/ animals / climate / vegetation
o Human system (Place Cultural) = Human influences to a place / Human factors
Student Response: Describe your neighborhood applying the below listed Themes of Geography. Be very detailed or
descriptive with your language
Place region & relative location: I live at an apartment complex which is located in Inglewood. Each apartment in
the area has its own kind of structures that are unique but also similar to each other. My area shares similarity with
other apartment complexes; it's nothing too special. If people were to ask me about an area near my location I would
tell them about the fast food place named stormburger, it's normally pretty busy.
Physical & human system: The complex is fenced off by a long gate, there's a back area with flowers, grass and trees
that people walk in, there's also another back area where people can do their laundry or simply relax in. The areas
around me are just great overall, it's nice talking to people who live here as well{:
