That will allow their lectures to become more vibrant and successful.

DEMONSTRATE, USING DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION STYLES AND FORMAT, THAT YOU CAN EFFECTIVELY DESIGN AND DELIVER A TRANING EVENT FOR A GIVEN TARGET AUDIENCE (P1) Definition and the importance of communication skill Definition: What are communication skills?

Communication skills are qualities that you use for providing and receiving information of

different kinds. Many definitions include conveying thoughts, emotions or what's going on

around you. Ability to communicate requires listening, communicating, understanding and

empathizing. It is also helpful to understand the differences in how to connect that face-to-

face experiences, telephone conversations and digital communication, like email and social

media.

For support you become an effective communicator, there are different types of communication

skills that you can acquire and practice. Many of these skills work together, making it necessary for

exercise communication skills wherever possible, in different contexts.

Active listening

Figure 1 :Active listening

To listen consciously means to pay careful attention to the person listening to you. Individuals who

are good listeners are well-respected by their peers because of their attention and respect given to

others. Although it may seem easy, it's a talent that can be difficult to develop and strengthen.

Through focusing on the speaker, you can be an attentive listener, eliminating disruptions like cell

phones, computers

People are more likely to react to ideas presented with trust in the workplace. There are

many approaches to be relaxed, like making eye contact while approaching others, sitting up

wide out with your hands and planning ahead of time to refine your words. You can notice

positive contact comes in handy not only on the work but also during the review of the job

interview.

Empathy

Figure 4 :Empathy

To have empathy ensures you can recognize and express other people's emotions. This

communication ability is essential both in team settings and one-on - one. You will need to

consider the feelings of other people in both situations, and pick a suitable response. For

example, if someone shows anger or frustration, empathy will help you understand their

distress and mitigate it. At the same time, being able to understand how optimistic and

excited everyone feels will help you find encouragement for your ideas and projects.

Respect

Figure 5 :Respect

Knowing when to start the conversation and react is a key aspect of consideration. Allowing

others to talk without interference in a team or community environment is seen as a

required contact ability linked to respectfulness. Communicating politely always involves

using your time wisely with someone else — staying on subject, posing straightforward

questions and answering any questions you have been asked in detail.

Figure 7 :Communication skills

1. Communication skills help teachers understand more: – Students need realistic and

broader knowledge of the subject they are studying at school and college. We need to ask

the question for better learning from teachers and they have to address their subjective

and objective concerns. If teachers realize where they are uncertain about the topic then

they will be able to teach in their way, it will help students get high marks.

2. The quality of being friendly with other:

In school and college it is important to be friendly with others. Controlled verbal

communication and physical interaction can allow them to form new mates. Studying with

peers helps relieve pain. And in a competitive environment and situation, it's truly

important.

3. Communication skills help in career development:

Clear communication of the skills and knowledge, clear language of terms when engaging

with interviewees, relaxed facial gestures help students get a job after graduation. That is

how effective communication is making a difference in students ' personalities. In the

interview, several students face communication problems, which is why studying and

improved communication help them build a future during their respective fields.

Verbal communication

Verbal communication is any communication that uses words to share information with

others. These words may be both spoken and written.

Figure 8 :Verbal communication

There's a lot of different oral communication skills. These vary from the apparent (for

example, being able to speak plainly or listen), to the subtler (for example, thinking and

clarifying).Below is the summary for this skill:

Opening Communication

The first few minutes become vitally important in many interpersonal experiences. First

experiences affect greatly on further and subsequent contact performance.

Basic Verbal Communication Skills: Effective Speaking and Listening

Good speech requires three main areas: the terms you use, how you use them, and how with

other non-verbal communication you enhance them.

Active listening is an ability which is necessary. When we talk, though, we tend to spend far

more time contemplating what we're doing than listening to the other person
