A. Introduction

In this report, I will show the enssential skill to be more success in life and work. These skill include

communication skill, problem-solving skill, time management skill and critical reasoning skill. All will

be discuss specifically in this report and these skill will be demonstrate through a group work.

LO1: Demonstrate a range of interpersonal and transferable communication skills to a target audience P1: Demonstrate, using different communication style and formats, that you can effectively design and deliver a training event for a given target audience. I. Definition and the importance of communication skills:

1. Definition : Communication skill is the act of tranferring information from one entity to another

with the good use of signs, symbols and rules. Communication include vocally, written, visually or

non-verbally. In reality, it often a combination of several of these (Anon., n.d.).

Figure 1 : Communication skills

Communication skills involve speaking, listening, observing and empathizing. It is necessary to

understand how to communicate by phone, face-to-face interactions, digital communications

such as media and email (Khullar, 2020).

communication, also it is often used in clarification. This skill help to extract more information and it

a useful way to maintain a conversation (Anon., n.d.).

III. Non-verbal communication:

Non-verbal communication refer to the transfer of information via usingfacial expressions, the tone

and pitch of the voice, gestures displayed via body language and the physical distance between

communicators (Anon., n.d.).

For example: arms crossed over chest (gesture indicating defensiveness or stress), Covering mouth (gesture used to hide a smile or frown).

Figure 3 : Non-verbal communication

Those non-verbal signals provide clues and some useful information and meaning over and above

verbal communication. Non-verbal communication existed around 70 - 80% of communication based

on some estimates. (Anon., n.d.).

Using non-verbal communication helps people to:

➢ Ensures or modify what is said in word

➢ Provide information about others emotional state

➢ Define or ensure peoples relationship

➢ Regulate the flow of communication

IV. Communication in my group:

During the group work, my team communicates by using Google Meet and Discord. We cannot have

face to face communication due to the geographical distance of each members in group and the

COVID- 19 pandemic. During the conversation we fully utilized both verbal and non-verbal

communication by talking, send message, texting in the chat box. Also we used body language to

better express the information we want to convey and to attract attention to make the meeting less

bored. Thanks to the good uses of both verbal and non-verbal communication, all members in group

has been successfully understood each other’s ideas and complete task correctly and quickly.

P2: Demonstrate that you have used efective time management skills in plaining an event. I, Definition and importance of time management skills

Definition: Time management skills refer to the ability to use your time productively and effectively.

Having a good time management allows you to work smarter and more effecitve so that you take less

time to do a task even if the lack of time and high pressures. Having a poor time management will
