Page | 1 Professional Practices in Computing Introduction PSH – Pakistan Sweet Homes is a non-governmental organization based in Pakistan. The organization's mission is to provide orphans with refuge and education while also bringing considerable value to their lives. Technology is taking control in today's fast-paced world. To make the NGO's operations more efficient, the students decided to design a training program on fundamental IT systems and distribute it to the NGO's beneficiaries. The process of learning new abilities or improving old ones is referred to as training. On-the-job training and off-the-job training are the two types of training. On-the-job training refers to learning while working or at a workplace. Off-the-job training, on the other hand, involves traveling somewhere for training purposes, such as seminars. It's just as vital to know how to recognize a threat as it is to know how to report one. To the extent that it is necessary, this topic falls under "Basic IT Hygiene." Phishing, ransomware, and appropriate password practices should all be familiar to all employees. As a result, our team decided to provide IT security training. My team was comprised of six individuals, and we were able to execute the training effectively and successfully thanks to the teammates' diligence and diverse and acceptable interpersonal skills. Training Plan

Description About Our Project

In the beginning, we discussed in the meeting about three days training plans as well as a duration of 6 hours each day. The basic topic we were discussing in this meeting is time management. Time Management alludes to overseeing time viably so the ideal opportunity is designated to the right movement. Powerful using time effectively permits people to appoint explicit schedule openings to exercises according to their significance. Time Usage alludes to utilizing time as time is constantly restricted. Moreover, all the team members agreed to discuss a single topic in one day when the training event occurs. On the other hand, the next thing we will discuss is the presentation of the desired topic after the introduction of the desired topic. After this, a small refreshment break will occur to make sure all the students will boost up properly. At last, we will discuss two things. One of the main things is a simple quiz related to the presentation as well as the queries from the students about the topic to make sure all the students understand the topic properly. The following criteria will be divided into three days so we can say that the steps we will implement in the desired topic of each day. All the team members will be totally satisfied with the discussion of this meeting.

Training Outline

After planning this event, the next thing we will discuss the time management using the abbreviation named SMART Goal Technique.

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Relevant
  • Time Based With the use of this technique, we will manage the time as we can see in the form of table representation.

Time Management Day by Day

Figure 15 PowerPoint Slide Day 1 As we can see in the following diagram, we have the time management criteria in the form of table representation. We have about one hour for the Introduction of Desired topic. And their responsible team member is Ayaz. Secondly, the other team member named Mubeen will be responsible for the presentation about the planned topic and their duration is about two hours, then we will include a refreshment break with the duration of one hour and make sure all the things would be run smoothly as their responsible member named as Hamza, the next responsible member named Shakeel will be responsible for the questioning and answering about the problems and their duration is about one hour, last two members named as Rehman and Abdullah will be responsible to make a quiz of the day about the desired topic as well as answers about the queries, both contain one hour as we divided into thirty minutes.

Page | 10 Figure 16 PowerPoint Slide Day 2 when the first day occurs, the next day management of the planned topic is all about review and recap. It helps to revise their topic and feel free when we want to explain this topic from the beneficiaries. Moreover, we will also include their practical activities about planned topics to make sure what is the importance and their role in the physical world. Figure 17 PowerPoint Slide Day 3 After we will review and recap the planned topics, the next thing we will discuss on day three is the benefits and constraints of planned topics and their impact on their topic-related substances, which improves the skills and knowledge about the desired topic. After this, we will include the feedback from the participants to check what are the goals we want and what are the actual outcomes in this three-day It training event.

Observation Sheet

Here are the following observation criteria from the department which means what he observes in this whole event and what are the rankings about all the thing which relates to this. Table 2 Observation Chart

Problem Solving Techniques

When we create an event after implementing different challenges as well as different conclusions, the next thing which will occur is problems. And when the problem is created, we will try to solve the problems using problem-solving techniques. Process of Problem Solving There are following the four major steps that will include the problem-solving technique which helps to assume the solutions step by step. Defining the Problem In this step first, we define the problem properly and make sure what kind of problem occurs. Identifying the Problem Once we discuss what kind of problem occurs, in this stage we will discuss about what are the criteria to analyze the problem for the acknowledgment of the problem properly. Searching the Solution After we knew about what kind and what are the criteria of the problem, the next thing we will discuss about what are the possible solutions for this problem to solve the problem properly as

Page | 13 well as a better conclusion. In this context, we will face multiple solutions but it is based on the proper decision. Implementation for the Best Solution After we face multiple solutions, the next thing is that what is the best solution which removes all the facing problems as well as better results.

Problems Raised and Countered During the Project Lifecycle

In any activity, the most important resource is people. When it comes to providing intangible services like training, human effort is crucial. On the other hand, the team had to deal with a variety of issues. Because different team members had diverse points of view, deciding on the common ground was challenging. The process of forming a team is lengthy and involves multiple stages. So, we will analyze the problem and solve all these problems using these types of techniques in our event. We will analyze and implement the solution collectively with the help of problem- solving techniques as shown in this Table representation. The following table representation shows that what is the problem we face in our event and what are the suitable criteria for the best solutions. Table 3 Problems and Solutions Chart PROBLEMS SOLUTIONS All our teammates are extremely talented and have unique ideas. Innovation is always a good thing because it generates a lot of fresh ideas. Other members' unfavorable thoughts, on the other hand, can be exceedingly disheartening and demotivating to them. As a result, choosing a topic took a long time because every member's viewpoint had to be considered. Many suggested that training should be given online, whereas many were against it as well. Many people urged that training be done online, while others were against it. The pros and cons of different methods were evaluated by every member. Thus, the method with the highest advantages to TMUC was decided. Because the training will take place over three days and will last six hours each day. Because all members are students, the long period made it difficult for everyone to be present on all three days. As a result, we had to deal with resource shortages at various times. Contingencies of each member were created.
