You are to write a report on two issues as follows: (1) the recent trends in the financial
status (e.g., market share and stock value) of two major microcontroller chip makers
Microchip and Freescale,and(2)arelevant application of a PIC microcontroller
(made by Microchip). Your report must not be shorter than three full pages.Use1
margins and 12 pt Times New Roman fonts with single line spacing.
You should search the manufacturers’ Web Pages, and electronic versions of major
journals and technical magazines to get the information for your paper. You must use
your own words and properly refer to your sources. Keep in mind the guidelines on
avoiding plagiarism that are given in the syllabus (e.g., no copy/paste of paragraphs from
Internet sources).
