Features of Wix Web Builder To build a website as a requirement for this assignment, we chose WIX, as it is a very famous cloud-based web builder about which we have constantly seen adverts. It gives us the capacity to build a modern and professional looking website. Not only this, Wix is a feature-packed and mobile-optimized builder. Wix features used for the development of this website:

  1. Wix Artificial Design Intelligence: All it took was answering a few basic questions about our business to allow this AI algorithm to put together a stunning website. A few more clicks and adjustments gave us a completed template that was perfectly tailored to our business type.
  2. Total Design Freedom: The builder allowed us to customize every element and use most of the innovative drag and drop elements even in the freemium.
  3. Advanced Design Features: Animations, video backgrounds, transitions, scroll effects were used to modernize the website.
  4. Media Galleries: This feature helped display our products catalog in a beautiful gallery layout.
  5. Customizable Fonts: The wide variety of available fonts and the ability to upload our fonts, allowed us to express more than just words.
  6. Smart Tips: On the spot tips and text suggestions were provided by the developer when editing any element or column on the builder.
  7. Mobile Optimized: Last but not the least, a website built on a desktop would automatically look great even on mobile devices. This saves time as it allows a builder to not worry about losing information and detailing of the website on a mobile version. Type of E-Commerce Business Website The website (The Naya Shop) is a fashion & accessories online store that can certainly grab your attention with the diversity and huge range of clothes, bags, phone cases, etc. and not to mention the variety of sizes that are available on the website as you can find a desired piece of clothing that will fit your measurements perfectly!. All is well along with a price that is not going to disappoint you surely because of the reasonable pricing compared with the amazing quality you receive, and not to forget that there are huge discounts seasons so just imagine the amazing prices that the shop would offer you during that time!. The customers can be both men and women as most people like to say these days “clothes have no gender” and that certainly includes all accessories especially the handbags and phone cases! The cherished customers can choose between two ways of paying for their order, either online via credit card or they can choose to pay by cash on delivery, the website has

given them this choice because the developers understand that not everyone wants to shop online and stay safe at their home can own a credit card, so they decided to make it easier for them. Role of Website in Gaining Competitive Advantage The website (The Naya Shop) has many advantages which allow us to proudly say that they can compete and win against other companies or websites in many ways including the prices, the quality, customer service, and so on. When comparing the products with other rivals or competitors the Naya shop is certainly confident with the quality of every one of their products, as all products are being manufactured with extreme care and attention to all details that surround a product such as the material that is being used, the way the stitches are stitched as well as the overall fit of the products, meaning by that how the clothes would fit the body to feel perfect to the customer, how the fit and size of each bag is different than the other for it to be suitable for many customers depending on how they like the feeling of the bag in their hand to be. However, no one can deny the fact which is that there is still an intense rivalry in the online shop's department especially now (the year 2020) since many people are shifting to the online stores, restaurants, and education systems to stay safe, so there is most likely an increase in competition in that area. For that reason, the Naya shop has come up with discounts and sales season that can have discounts that can reach as much as 90% off selected products, and thus attract a huge amount of new customers that most of the time end up being loyal customers after interacting with the product that they received and noticing the great quality of the product that they have got for an even greater value. Simplicity and attention to detail are what identify the products of the Naya online shop, so by knowing that we can know that changing the supplier is not an easy task neither it is a hard task. The new supplier would have to be able to supply the store with excellent raw material that isn’t too pricy so that the shop would be able to easily put on low prices during the sales season, so if the shop would change their supplier it wouldn’t be hard for them to find suppliers with the wanted materials however they might have a hard time negotiating and debating the prices between them. Buyers and customers of the Naya shop may sometimes desire lower prices on the products while the website doesn’t have any ongoing sales, however, many loyal customers can guarantee the astounding value of the products and consistently buy from them their luxurious yet simple products, so they can be the backbone that helps the shop flourish and when people see customers who bought the products give their honest review they believe their words more than the words of the website and their

Use of Competitive Strategies In this step, the website ‘Naya Shop’ is mainly focusing on three competitive strategies.

  1. Low-cost Leadership : the website “Naya Shop” is using low-cost leadership, which is extremely profitable and productive in attaining market share also in attracting the customers’ or buyer’s interest. On the other hand, the website is selling these goods and products at a cheaper rate, but that does not mean that it is producing goods that are of poor quality at approximately cheap prices. In this way, the strategy at the end will drive to breakdown. That’s why the website is offering products that are known for their high quality and particular to a collection of customers at a much cheaper price than the competitors with providing the similar product which will make it competitive in the market.
  2. Product Differentiation: is an important need to keep the product existence and to differentiate their products from others (competitors). The website “Naya Shop” has this strategy that they offer a unique quality that provides a special product with distinctive characteristics and a high-speed service of the company’s offers that differ from the offers of its competitors. “Naya Shop” also focuses on:  How product differentiation concentrates on the buyer’s interest in more than one main benefit of a brand that makes it superior to other options.  How differentiation might reflect within the name, bundling, and advertising of a product.  And how a product differentiation strategy ought to illustrate that a product could do anything and everything the compete for options with having more and extra advantages that nobody offers it.
  3. Customer and Supplier Intimacy: at the point, when companies do not interface intently sufficient with their clients/customers, confidence, income, and client feelings in ways that will damage and hurt the business. But, the website “Naya Shop” has strong relations, connections, and developing in loyalty with their customers and suppliers, that they will feel more appreciate about themselves and who are they dealing with. On the other hand, the “Naya Shop” website does not take customer and supplier intimacy as a proactive strategy with the customers only, however about focusing on a particular subset of clients whose wants you know you can meet.

E-Commerce Business Model Although there are three main parts of the e-commerce business model that are:

  1. Business to Business (B2B)
  2. Business to Customers (B2C)
  3. Customer to Customer (C2C) The website “Naya Shop” e-commerce business model has been used ‘Business-to- Consumer (B2C) model’. “Naya Shop” website directly sells the products and services to the consumers, without any mediator. Through this model, the website meets the consumers’ needs and continues the business instead of selling it to the other business. Otherwise, the business that depends on B2C sales should keep up great relations with their clients to make sure that they will return. E-Commerce Revenue Model The e-commerce revenue model is commonly deemed as classifying e-commerce business as revenues induct the total amount of money received by the organization after trading the services or the products with clients. There are several options from where revenues can be created and generated for instance:
  4. Advertising
  5. Affiliate marketing
  6. Subscription
  7. Sales
  8. Transaction fee I considered the following revenue models for the website: Affiliate marketing is considered as earning revenue by marketing or promoting other products for sale on the web site. Like referencing a book and recommend the customers to get a copy for themselves. Also, we can make an affiliate account and put direct book links on the Amazon site which will give us a percentage of the sale. Moreover, we must search which companies may accept to give us a financial stimulant to promote their sites & products on the site. Advertising is a commonly used way to earn more revenue by advertising our products on social media like the ads shown on Instagram, Snapchat, and the rest of them. This will attract more people to visit the site and see the products we have. Additionally, we can implement an advertising revenue model by selling places on the site to other companies to advertise their products and works.

handling the remaining errors and solve any issues that may exist in the system even after the testing step. Also, support & maintenance may be needed for a short time for small systems and for a longer time for large systems. And these are the SDLC steps that I considered for the website. Use of Data for Smart Business Decisions Each of us has countlessly experienced the horror of looking up a product or item on websites, only to find the ads of the same or similar products line up the next time we are surfing the web. It is no news to us that websites are constantly tracking our behavior, browsing patterns, and searches. All such data is used primarily by Google Ads for targeted advertising. However, the method of tracking depends on the website we choose to visit. If the website opts only for first-party tracking, the website then uses that data to provide users with their “recently viewed” sections or storing search histories, or even providing suggestions based on the user’s previous browsing patterns. The main reason website owners would track a user’s activity would of course be to gain insights. For instance, when a customer visits the website and creates a user account using their email, phone number, and location we can provide personalized product services and target users individually using the data that they provided. The collected data will help understand and predict the customers and potential future customer's habits and how they interact with our website and our website products and services.  Website Analytics: Among the data collected from our users are their IP addresses and locations and they are used to determine the locations of our customers, where our products mostly sell, and where our products are not doing well using tools like google analytics. We use this data to provide a smooth customer experience while they are on our website. We use analytics to know how many people visit the website, where they live, which websites send traffic to our website, which pages of our website are most popular, the average time that a user spends on our website, and the list goes on and on. We then try to attract the customer and sell as many products as we can during the time of highest activity periods recorded in our analytics by providing services like promotion codes, sales, offers, seasonal promotions, and top-selling category services. If a user visits our site and does not interact with the products and services provided by us, we can then conclude that there is something wrong with the function or the design of our website. We can use this information to provide a better user experience in the future.  Personalized Recommendation System: If a customer interacts with a product by adding it to their wish list or cart, we can assume that the customer is considering this product in one way or another so, we can provide a list of suggestions that fit the first product that the user interacted with. For

example, a customer buys a handbag from our website we provide a recommended list of products that our previous customers bought them together.  Advertising through e-mail: When a user signs up for a newsletter or looks for a product or buys a product from our website, we send promotional emails to them to keep interacting with the user so that they can come back to the website in the future and be one of our loyal customers. Wishing our customers international and local calibrations is also one way to keep interacting with our customers so they do not completely forget about the site.  Customer feedback: Having a customer feedback option on our site is very useful for us, we can use their feedback to analyze and improve any discomfort or problems that our website might have. Maintaining customer satisfaction and avoiding any loss of customers is the priority to any business and the feedback option is our website helps us pinpoint what our customers like and what our customers do not like, what products satisfy customers and what products do not satisfy the customers. The feedback option is also the best platform to use to directly communicate with our customers within the website.  Third-party advertising: We can opt for third party advertising in the future as it is a common strategy for multiple businesses in the same field. In this strategy, our website will also include adverts for our competitors’ products. In this way, our website can earn advertising revenue. Webpages Descriptions Here are some pictures of the website. The homepage shows the main categories, such as the Bestseller collection.

This is the last page that includes the Contact numbers, Timing, Store Location, a way to reach and contacting the employees for inquiries, and any additional information to provide a good service. Conclusion To wrap things up, upon the successful completion of the project, we designed an e- commerce website representing a Fashion & Accessories Store called Naya, through a highly sophisticated web builder, Wix, and explained our rationale for using the same. We then discussed important features of Wix that were used to design the website, followed by in-depth explanations of strategies, business models, and revenue models, systems development phase implemented in our website. We also analyzed how data from this website can be used towards our business, to build and maintain customer relationships, market our products better, etc. Lastly, we attached the screenshots of the website with their descriptions. Overall, this assignment was a unique learning experience as it allowed us to use and adapt to a full-featured web building software, Wix, which we have all heard the raves of. References
