April Progress Report:
Accomplishments:
-Final programming completed for mobile units.
-Hard coded transmission values for the 4 mobile devices, each transmits a unique signal
(0x5A, 0xB1, 0xC8, 0x7D).
-Helped Dustin solve wireless communication problem that has plagued us and
implement new design plan based on this. New plan includes inverting signal before
transmission and using an inverting Schmitt trigger after receiving to reduce noise.
Plan for May:
Tasks to Accomplish:
-Finish soldering and building final devices that include three more base units and one
more mobile.
-Clean up software and implement mobile device
-Help with documentation, update test plan, create user manual and prepare for fair.
