Question 1:Law is not always concerned with promoting morality, but at the very least,
it should never promote immorality. Immoral laws will be ignored by the populace?
Answer: The law in the simple words is rules and regulations that people have been
imposed by the state to run the society with a manner. The law meets the requirements
of the people to save everybody's interest and every citizen of the state is bound to
follow the law of the state. Furthermore, the law has been very much essentially playing
it's role from the past centuries to generate order in a society. The law of the state is
equal for all citizens; it provides equal protection to every citizen under different criteria
and processes. The law provides us a balancing society as law is totally based on logic,
evidence and reasonableness. If there would be no check-up on the acts of the people
there would be so much chaos in the society, the law is there to check-up on the people
and give the certain legal domain to act under that domain. That legal domain is
enforced by law to save everyone's interest equally. The law provides the process of
justice to every citizen, and it can hold anyone accountable for breach of law and if the
person found guilty he would be held liable and would be punished according to the
law. However, the law is enacted by the people to live accordingly in the state, but
some state laws spread immoral values also. The state of North korea has a(100%)
conviction rate. If you are arrested there are more chances that you will be convicted for
it but according to international law there should be a proper trial and hence you must
be proved guilty then you would be punished for that crime. But in South Korea you
would be convicted for the act you are arrested for. The people of North korea have
been protesting to bring the change in their political system and one day maybe they
will be successful in their struggle and also per statement be Ibn-khaldoon “Every
dynasty has a rise rise and fall”.
Morality can be defined as doing an act with positivity or with kindness. The moral
values always spread kindness in society. The many state laws spread the moral
values as morality is also part of the law. The tort law which is civil wrong in its
principles punishes those who have negligently harmed someone and held him
accountable for his actions and if proved guilty then the person has to compensate the
injured person. The law is totally based on the moral values. Moreover, in a democratic
state people choose their representatives through the electoral process, to represent
them and enact laws for them in parliament. If their representatives do not pass the
moral laws and the laws which do not meet the requirements of the people. Then
people have the right to protest against them and overthrow their government. Within
this, the people got a chance in every election to select their representatives, if they
think the last government wasn't sufficient and enacting the draconian laws then people
can vote for another party, which will then repeal or amend that laws. The law has

As democracy is by the people, for the people and to the people.

Question 2: Lawyers need to understand logical reasoning if they are going to be able to

understand law itself, because most laws, most of the time, are based on logic.

Answer 2: The term ‘Logic’ is referred to as a branch of philosophy that deals with the science of reasoning and arguments which we claim on the basis of fact or have solid evidence of. The principle of logic is used to differentiate good or valid arguments from bad or invalid arguments and then to reach the decision on the basis of logic. Moreover, the law is totally based on reasoning, evidence and logic, it does not have the space for emotions , it's equal for every citizen of the state. Whenever the matter or dispute rises under the law it deals with logic, fact, reasoning and precedent and impose it's judgements based on the reasoning. Logic has been playing a crucial role in the matters of law and state. The law always gives its decisions based on the reasoning so there must be a transparency of the matter. The lawyers need to learn the logic to make their arguments more authentic, so they can reason well and their argument must be effective. In today's world if we take out the logic from our statement then it would be difficult for the people to believe in your statement as it will be having less authenticity without logic. A lot of people do it very well without studying logic but sometimes the situation gets tough so to come out of the situation and come to its solution, the logic will be needed. Furthermore, for the lawyers it's very much necessary to cover studies of the logic as it upgrades the mind for critical thinking and seeing pictures from a bigger perspective. Logic also teaches us about the laws of nature and the universe. It's very much important for a law student to cover this subject as they will need the help of logic in their practical life to come up with resolution over the disputes. The matters of law runs on the basis of logic, the law requires the logic and reasoning in their statements so for a legal professionalist it is very much important to study the logic as in future legal professionalists have to give their statements according to the logic and based on reasoning to complete their task, if it would be not based on logic then it might be rejected by the honorable courts and the people.
