MATERIALS AND METHODS
Experimental Birds
A total of ninety (90) heads of day-old Cobb broilers appeared with naturally
yellow skin, snow-white plumage/white-feathers will be used in the study. The
experimental animals will be obtained from a Poultry Farm located at Ayala,
Magalang, Pampanga. Cobb500 is'the world's most efficient broiler with the lowest
feed conversion, best growth rate and and ability to thrive on low density and less
costly nutrition (Azeem, 2022).
Experimental Design and Treatments
The experiment design will be a single factorial arranged in a Complete
Randomized Design (CRD) will be used in this study. There are three (3) treatments
with thirty (30) heads of Cobb Broilers per treatment, three (3) replication and ten
(10) heads per replication. The treatment combinations will be as follows:
The experimental treatments are as follows:
Treatment 1 - 0 ml/1L of drinking water (Control)
Treatment 2 - 0.5ml/1L of drinking water
Treatment 3 - 1ml/1L of drinking water
